‘Level One – Consultancy Visit’ (from £500)

  • Consists of an informal visit to the client’s premises, with an initial verbal consultation and practical overview of relevant H&S legislation, followed by a basic ‘hazard spotting’ inspection of the workplace. The client then receives a follow up email for their records, with a ‘to-do’ list of the most significant action points arising from the visit.
  • This level of service is suitable for smaller businesses that just need ‘a push in the right direction’ (e.g. 0 – 4 employees, generally one main premises / work activity, minimal contact with the general public).

‘Level Two – Review Visit’ (from £1000)

  • Consists of a formal visit to the client’s premises, with an initial recorded consultation and detailed overview of relevant H&S legislation, plus a review of their existing H&S management system (inc relevant documentation), followed by a comprehensive ‘hazard spotting’ inspection of the workplace. The client then receives a follow up email for their records, plus a suitable review report which includes a ‘summary’ of the most significant action points arising from the visit (i.e. an ‘Action Plan’) and an update of all relevant H&S documentation (i.e. safety policy / risk assessments / safe working procedures).
  • This level of service is suitable for larger businesses that need to demonstrate being ‘proactive’ and become ‘legally compliant’ (e.g. > 5 employees, numerous premises / work activities, regular contact with the general public).

‘Level Three – Audit Visit’ (from £1500)

  • Similar to a ‘Level Two’ visit but with the production of a full audit report. Plus the client receives a short follow up site visit (at a suitably convenient time but ideally within a month of the initial visit), so as to ensure receipt of the audit report and to further explain any details / help with implementing the ‘Action Plan’.
  • This level of service is more appropriate to businesses that are starting from scratch (i.e. no H&S documentation) and require ‘ongoing’ support (i.e. acting as their ‘competent person’).

‘Additional Visits / Documentation’ (£POA – charged at £50 per hour)

  • Additional time spent at a client’s premises (i.e. following up a ‘Level Two’ service, reviewing an existing health & safety management system, assisting with the investigation of an accident / ‘near-miss’ incident, hosting a formal staff meeting).
  • Provision of ‘client specific’ on-site training (i.e. basic health & safety awareness / ‘tool box talks’ to employees / formal staff inductions inc ‘young persons’ / management of contractors).
  • Production of ‘client specific’ documentation (e.g. policies, assessments, procedures).

(NB: please note that all quoted consultancy fees are PLUS VAT, with associated travel costs / any extra expenses being charged additionally to the fees).
